Panama City, FL – October 16, 2018 – SmartBank announced today a Loan Payment Deferral Program for impacted clients in FEMA declared disaster areas only.  *Details are outlined below:

  • SmartBank will defer interest only and/or principal and interest payments for a period of 90 days upon request.   Payments will be added on to the end of the term of the loan (i.e. term will extend for an additional 3 months).
  • Borrower must reside or the collateral property securing the loan must be located in a FEMA declared disaster area associated to Hurricane Michael
  • Borrower must make the deferral request to the Bank by November 30, 2018
  • Loan Payment Deferral Program applies to commercial, consumer and mortgage loans.
