Murfreesboro, Tenn. – We are thrilled to announce John Dietrich has joined SmartBank as Senior Vice President and Relationship Manager. With over three decades of banking experience, Dietrich will be a valuable addition to our team.

Dietrich began his banking career in 1991 after graduating from the University of Tennessee with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. Throughout his 33-year career, he has held various leadership positions, gaining extensive experience in commercial and private banking.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Dietrich is also dedicated to community service. He has served in leadership positions with numerous organizations, including past president and board member of The Jesse Beesley Animal Humane Foundation, past president of the Murfreesboro Noon Rotary Club, and former Rutherford County Chair and board member of the American Heart Association. In 2014, he co-chaired the American Heart Association Rutherford County Heart Ball. His contributions extend to the Rutherford County Chamber of Commerce, where he served as Diplomat Chair and on its Board of Directors for Diplomats. He has been involved with the United Way of Rutherford and Cannon Counties and the Advisory Board for the Business Education Partnership. Currently, he serves as president of the Optimist Club, is a Rotary Paul Harris Fellow, and an Eagle Scout.
