David Scott
Murfreesboro, Tenn. – SmartBank announced recently that David Scott has been promoted to Area Executive for Murfreesboro and Tullahoma, Tenn. He will oversee and lead the bank’s efforts in both Rutherford and Coffee Counties.
Scott joined the SmartBank team in 2019 as Senior Vice President, Rutherford County Market Executive and has 30 years of experience in the banking industry.
“The knowledge, expertise and leadership David has shown over the past year in leading our efforts in Rutherford County has been phenomenal,” said Billy Carroll, SmartBank President and CEO. “We’re excited to move him into this newly created position and look forward to his continued contributions to our success in Middle Tennessee.”
Scott is a Western Kentucky University graduate and an active member of the Rutherford County community where he currently serves on several non-profit and community boards of directors, including the American Heart Association and Murfreesboro City School Foundation. He is a past board member of the United Way of Rutherford and Cannon Counties and the Discovery Center.
