Destin, FL. – SmartBank is pleased to announce that Kavin McTear has joined its Destin team as Vice President, Relationship Manager.

With more than 16 years of experience in the financial services industry, McTear specializes in business development and consultancy, and was formerly employed with Wells Fargo bank.
“Kavin has a tremendous reputation in the community and will play a key role for us in northwest Florida,” said Robert Kuhn, SmartBank’s Alabama and Florida Regional President. “I’m looking forward to working with him as we focus on opportunities for continued growth for the bank in that area.”
He attended Northwest Florida State College, where he graduated with an associate’s degree. In his time away from the office, Kavin volunteers with the Boys and Girls Club of Fort Walton Beach.
