Jack Kane Hired to Lead Tallahassee Team as SVP
Tallahassee, Fla. – SmartBank has announced its expansion into the Tallahassee, Fla. market with the opening of its Loan Production Office located at 400 Norton Lane, Suite 104.

SmartBank is also proud to announce the addition of Jack Kane to the Tallahassee team. Kane will play a key role in the growth and development of the bank in the Tallahassee market as the company’s Senior Vice President and Relationship Manager.

A Tallahassee native, Kane joins SmartBank after serving four years as Regional President for PeoplesSouth Bank in Tallahassee. In this role, he was not only responsible for managing a number of client relationships, but also overseeing and growing the bank’s Tallahassee presence. He has 37 years of lending and management experience.
Kane earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Florida State University and a Masters of Banking from the Louisiana State University Banking School. He is a graduate of Leadership Tallahassee and is very active in the community, having served on several organization’s boards and committees, including the Tallahassee Builders Association, the Tallahassee Lenders Consortium, and the Greater Tallahassee Chamber of Commerce.
