KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – April 13, 2017 – SmartBank recently announced the addition of Kim Welker, Vice President Relationship Manager.

Welker joins SmartBank with over 30 years of experience in the financial industry, including several years of community involvement throughout Knox County. She currently serves as a volunteer with Junior Achievement (JA), in which she has received three past awards for her service including the 2009 JA Volunteer of the Year, the 2009-2010 Middle School JA Volunteer of the Year and the 2009-2010 JA “Over the Top” Volunteer of the Year. She was also a five-time recipient of the “Million Dollar Producer” award, and eight-time recipient of the “Retail Loan Production Club,” both from previous financial institutions. In her spare time, Welker participates in mission work with her church, Sevier Heights Baptist, and enjoys reading and spending time in the outdoors.
