Destin, FL. – April 12, 2013 – SmartBank, a subsidiary of SmartFinancial, Inc., has announced leadership positions for its Florida offices.

“We are excited to have Bill Lloyd, Gail Miceli and Emory Singletary on the SmartBank leadership team,” said Billy Carroll, SmartBank President and CEO. “Their exceptional business development skills and expertise will give us a substantial advantage as we expand our Florida Panhandle presence.”

Bill Lloyd has been named Senior Vice President and Senior Lending Officer for SmartBank and will work out of the Destin office. He began his banking career in 1990 and has held a variety of leadership positions in the Florida Panhandle since 1997. Bill received a Finance Degree from Florida State University and holds a Chartered Financial Analyst designation. He is also a board member of World Choice Investments LLC and operates a private scholarship program.

Gail Miceli has been named Senior Vice President and Okaloosa County Market Leader. Gail joined GulfSouth Private Bank in 2007 and has been in the banking industry for over 27 years. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from Troy State University and is a graduate of Alabama Banking School. Gail has served the community in many leadership roles. A few of the organizations and boards she has served include the Niceville Chamber of Commerce, Greater Fort Walton Beach Chamber of Commerce, Okaloosa/Walton County United Way, Emerald Coast YMCA, American Heart Association and Fort Walton Beach Rotary Club.

Emory Singletary has been named Senior Vice President and Commercial Lender for SmartBank. Emory has over 27 years experience in the banking industry as a commercial lender. He received his Bachelor‘s Degree from Troy State University in 1990. Emory is also a graduate of Louisiana State University’s Graduate School of Banking, in addition to Florida’s School of Banking. He is currently serving on the board of Bay County’s Boys and Girls Club and is a member of the Bay County Chamber.
